We’ll provide safe and reliable transportation to groups up to 7 people for weddings, birthday celebrations, ladies’ nights out, concert trips, winery/brewery/cidery and distillery tours, bachelor/bachelorette parties, medical appointments when you need someone to drive and wait for you, business meetings and events, and any type of personal transportation you might need in the Fargo Moorhead area and beyond.

Meet The Founder

Renee Ellis, founder of Ellis Driving Services

Renee Ellis is a founder, indigenous businesswoman, and public figure disrupting the current local transportation industry of Fargo-Moorhead.

Renee has always taken people to their destinations safely and on time for over 5 years. She started her career in the transportation industry as an Uber driver in 2018 and kept her rating at or above 4.8 stars. She gave over 8,500 rides in the four years she drove solely for Uber. Through this experience, Renee developed a deep understanding of the transportation needs of the population of Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding areas, as well as, understanding of the gaps left by the existing transportation services. She created her own personal transportation company in March of 2022 called Ellis Driving Services. Renee began transporting clients to their destinations in May of 2022.

Since then, Renee has specialized in scheduled ride services of a superior quality than those offered by the local rideshare or taxi companies. Shortly after, Renee and her new entrepreneurial venture started gaining recognition and popularity in the area. She separated herself from the rest by specializing in personalized experiences for each scheduled customer at competitive prices, by being a reliable and punctual driver, by having a clean, safe, large and comfortable vehicle, as well as, by being an expert of the FM area and many other topics of interest.

She is passionate about helping people get to where they need to go safely and on time. Renee is also always collaborating with other small businesses and non-profit organizations in the area. For example, she’s acquainted with several of the craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries in the area and began offering customized group tours to these different venues. The range of services offered by her company and her commitment to her customers’ satisfaction and involvement in our community is unlike any other currently offered in this region of the north midwest.

Renee offers her services to individual customers, companies, and groups. She looks to partner with other local entrepreneurs in order to share her success with others and create a landscape in which business leaders from diverse cultures and backgrounds can thrive together.

Ashley FlemmerCustomer Development and Canva Genie

Ashley has been Renee's biggest supporter since the beginning of Ellis Driving Services. She provides her feedback on all things business management and planning, oversees all the communications to customers and for advertising, and also helps driving some of the rides when Renee is busy with another customer, networking, studying or meeting with business consultants. When she is not busy with Ellis Driving, she teaches special education to children, works on her Master's degree, hangs out with her extremely huggable dog Majla and enjoys doing all kinds of crafts. She is also Renee's lovely and sweet wife and they make a beautiful couple together 💕

Kristen AndersonIT and Product Development

Kristen joined Ellis Driving Services early on providing technology guidance and support to Renee. She helps prioritize the expansion of technology implementations needed to grow the business, and is also the manager of this incredible WordPress site. When she is not helping out Renee and Ashley, she does software development work for a consulting company, hangs out with her cats, watches anime and eats delicious breakfast burritos made by Renee.

Renee was amazing! She picked us up and took us down to a campsite for a weekend, then returned us back to the airport at the end of our trip.
Great person, clean and roomy vehicle with big windows to see the countryside! Super knowledgeable about the area, was like having a driver and a tour guide all-in-one!!! We learned about rivers, local birds and animals, and the general demographic of the area.
She even offered to make sure we were hydrated and fed, with recommendations on local places to get coffee, food and even souvenirs!
